High points: Arriving on the overnight train, the realization that beer costs less than
water, our first hookah, getting lost in Hradcany, Prague at night, Dobrá Čajovna - our
favorite teahouse in Cesky Krumlov

Low Points: First impression of Prague (overrun with tour groups), disappointing clock
in Old Town

Local food/flavor: Goulash, dumplings, beer, fried pork, Pilsner Urquell

Unique Sights: Charles Bridge with less than ten people on it, huge fields of yellow
flowers on the side of the freeway

  • Walked over the Charles Bridge and along the (Vlatva) river at night
  • Spent an afternoon at a Prague teahouse drinking Moroccan tea and
    smoking the hookah

  • Toured the former Jewish Ghetto, prison, memorial, and museum

  • Explored the Cesky Krumlov castle
  • Relaxed by the river
  • Learned the fine art of tea presentation at Dobrá Čajovna
