Hmmmm....how to pack for a full year of travel? This was by far one of the most
time-consuming aspects of planning our trip. We had to carefully weigh the need to be
prepared for anything against being able to make a mad dash to catch a departing
train while carrying all our gear. It's a tough balance I tell you! After much deliberation,
this is what we decided to bring with us for the long haul.

We are having additional trekking equipment and clothing shipped to us specifically for
the Mt. Kilimanjaro climb, which we will ship back to the States after leaving Tanzania.
